Vinny’s Vig: NFL Week 6

Ready to rock, roll, and rake it in for NFL Week 6.

NFL Week 6

NFL Week 5 showed us some unexpected outcomes and left a few of my picks short of successful. After this past Monday Night thriller, Fio 5 was left at 2-3 while the 3-legged dawg went 1-2. We’re not going to let that get us down! The mind of a gambler must mimic the mind of a golfer; thinking of what’s next and not what has just happened.

Time to line our pockets with Vegas’ money!

FIO’s FIVE

5 Picks for the Week

  • Bills/Raiders Over 53.5

For a second straight week, I like the over in a Vegas game. Las Vegas is all about bright lights, glitz & glamour, and high-scoring offense. Although they failed to score 26 for the 5th straight week, the Raiders and Pats outscored their total by 17 points. No convincing necessary when it comes to Buffalo as Josh Allen & co. have gone over their total number in 4/5 games this season.

Give me the Over in this one.

  • Panthers -3.5 vs. Philadelphia

There is some serious dysfunction in the Philadelphia locker room. Although Jalen Hurts is hurt, this Eagles team has been in close games all year long. I was hesitant to take the spread because I do hate the hook, especially with the game in Philly. However, this Carolina offense is too overpowered.

Give me the Panthers by 4 or more.

  • Bears/Falcons Over 51.5

This is a game that features the league’s top 2 rushing attacks. The outcome of this total highly depends on who starts at QB for both teams. Both Michael Penix and Caleb Williams are expected to start this game despite injuries. Snoop Huntley hung 30 on this Falcons defense last week, expect high scoring, high flying from both sides.

Give me the over.

  • Ashton Jeanty Over 3.5 Receptions

Ashton Jeanty is off to a hot start and has not had fewer than 3 receptions in a single game so far this year. More importantly, the Buffalo Bills are giving up 5.4 receptions per game to running backs in 2026. Jeanty is a huge part of this offense and can easily surpass this mark.

Give me the over on receptions.

  • Jaguars -2.5 vs. Houston

For the second straight week, I am taking the Jaguars with the points. Although they failed to cover last week in London, I feel this is a much more manageable spread against a lesser division opponent. I love this Jaguars team in their second year under Liam Coen. They look to be a dominant force in the AFC this year and an early favorite to win the South.

Give me Sacksonville with the points.

THREE-LEGGED DAWG

  • Giants Moneyline against New Orleans

I love this New Orleans squad and I feel that Tyler Shough is on track to be a very good quarterback in this league. However, this Giants team shows resilience and has responded well to adversity all year. Giants are a short dawg at home in the Meadowlands. Never doubt Jameis Winston.

Give me the Giants in a pick-em.

  • Buccaneers Moneyline against Pittsburgh

The Buccaneers surprised everyone last week dominating on the road against Dallas. It is extremely tough to win after an emotional victory like last week, but the Bucs are hungry and they are back in Tampa on a long rest. Pittsburgh always seems to lose these types of games in the Mike Tomlin era. Aaron Rodgers looks youthful and will make it a tough game. The Bucs are playing for Todd Bowles job this week.

Give me the Pirates down in Florida.

  • Cowboys Moneyline against Green Bay

Green Bay is riding high after their domination of the Bears last week. Jordan Love may have found his early Toyotathon form. Dallas held a players-only meeting this week and they know more than anybody how badly they need a win. Dallas is 1-8-1 against the Packers in their last 10. Time to turn it around.

Give me Dallas in a desperation week.

IN THE ENDZONE

  • George Kittle +100

Washington is giving up the second most touchdowns to tight ends this year. Future Hall of Famer George Kittle is going in this week.

  • Blake Corum +135

Arizona has given up rushing touchdowns to 5 different opposing players this year. The Rams backfield is one of the league’s best two-headed monsters. Both Kyren Williams and Blake Corum scored last Monday at Buffalo. I like Corum against this weak Cardinal team.

  • Bryce Young +500

Bryce Young has broken out this season. He is great in the pocket and on his feet. Give me Young to galavant in against Philly.

Lock in.

Gotta bet to win!
